On March 13, Jessica Aldermann's world came crashing down. Her beloved pit bull, Wrigley, just 5 years old, was diagnosed with an inoperable form of cancer and given just weeks to live. But instead of focusing on what little time Wrigley, an AHS alum, had left, Jessica decided to make every day count.
Jessica created a bucket list for Wrigley, full of fun doggie to-dos to help fill Wrigley's remaining days with happiness. Jessica and Wrigley have already completed several of their bucket list task, and the Arizona Humane Society wants to make sure we can help Wrigley cross a few more items off his list.

Supporters, your voices have resonated at the Capitol. We sincerely appreciate your tireless commitment to the animals of Arizona. Thanks to our collective engagement, improvements have been made to the Cattleman's Bill HB2587 that are encouraging. But the amendments don't go far enough.

Sometimes the greatest gift you can give an animal is time, love and a place to call home. When you become a foster hero, you are giving a second chance to an animal who needs temporary respite from the shelter as they heal from injury or illness. |
