Is Your Pet the Cutest?
The pets who have been rescued seem to smile a bit wider than others, and we want to see those happy faces! Enter your pet in AHS’ Pet Photo Contest and they could appear in our 2021 calendar. The lucky dog and lucky cat with the most votes will each win their own month in our calendar, and we will randomly choose one other pet to be featured for a whole month!

Project Reachout & Navajo Operation Puppy Rescue
Last week, AHS welcomed 22 dogs through our Project Reachout program from our partners at the Navajo Operation Puppy Rescue, including a mom and her nine puppies who are being cared for in AHS’ Mutternity Suites. Project Reachout is a collaborative program developed by AHS where we take in at-risk pets from other animal welfare organizations. This is one of the many innovative ways AHS has become a safety net for the Valley’s most vulnerable animals and has helped us save an additional 100,000 lives over the past six years.

Interested in Adopting Sir Dobby?
I'm Sir Dobby, a 4-year-old Domestic Shorthair. I'd love a home where they are patient and understanding with me while I adjust. I'm a little shy at first when meeting new people, but I warm up with time and patience. All cats one year or older like me are FREE during July! My pals and I purred on our feline charm and convinced the nice folks at AHS to extend June’s National Adopt a Shelter Cat waived adoption fee special through the end of July.

Pets like Sir Dobby can be adopted through our Virtual Adoption Matchmaker Program. Interested adopters can view available pets on the AHS “Adopt” website pages and schedule an appointment online to meet their next furry friend. Find your perfect match today!
