Last week, Princess’ story almost came to a heartbreaking end. The little Maltese had been tossed into a trash can, still alive, still clinging to hope. The month of November is “Adopt a Senior Pet” month and older dogs like Yoshi are open books - from the start, you know what you are going to get. At the age of 12, this purebred Beagle remains upbeat and fun-loving.
Every morning she has the biggest smile on her face, and after limbering up with doggy yoga, she waits by the door with her tail wagging furiously and anticipates her brisk morning walk. Sweet-natured, affectionate and polite, she’s great with everyone! Meet Yoshi on Thursday at 4 p.m. at the Arizona Humane Society’s Campus for Compassion. |
